Garden at the Garden

I went to see Pearl Jam on 05/01 and 05/02. I wrote about the fan club and the ticketing process in a previous post. The seats were surprisingly good and my voice still hasn't recovered. I seriously heart Pearl Jam. The band played tight and Eddie Vedder still has a great voice. I had goose bumps most of the night singing some of my favorite songs along with 20,000+ other fanatics. It's great to see / hear musicians that you like live, but when that many people are singing the songs it's another level. I uploaded a few videos and they are linked in below. You can hear me singing a bit, but thankfully when I'm blended in with everyone else it still sounds amazing.

The first night they played Given To Fly, Release, Why Go, Porch, Elderly Woman, ALIVE, and BLACK! Swoooon hah The second night they played Corduroy, Once, Animal, GARDEN, Even Flow, Deep, Sonic Reducer, Present Tense, Alive / Baba O'Riley, and Yellow Ledbetter. I'm convinced that no one, including Eddie Vedder, actually knows the lyrics to Yellow Ledbetter. It's basically a bunch of sounds that are fun to make with your voice. I went craaaazzzzy when they played Garden!! Pearl Jam has only played Garden at MSG one other time since 1991! I want to fill this post with vertical punctuation because of how much fun I had. The shows were everything I hoped for and more!!!!!

Oh yeah, Sting came out and sang a song too hahah

Next stop Boston for my birthday! Woop
